Thank You Miss Kyla

Dear Miss Kyla first of all thank you for taking me for a visit to your mum's house she was a lovely lady who cared for me. It was funny when we were making fun of Clear(Miss Kyla Sister) when she was getting dressed up and then I said "You look like a cow girl." Later you told me that your mum was leaving at 10:00 pm to Fiji for a vacation and to visit your dad.. Then we went to Sam's parents house and when I first saw his house I was amazed because it was massive. When I took my few first steps inside I see Sam's dad inside chatting.

I went to go see my room and I see your mum nice fully making my room nice and tidy. I look at your walls and I see a whole set of teddy bears at first I thought it was your sister's room then you told me it was your room and then I was confused. We went to your parents room and I greeted myself to your sisters Talia and Margaret then your younger brother. At night you asked me if I wanted the laptop so I can watch movies during night.

I said to her "It's al right" then she asked again so this time I replied "Um  sure" then she gave it and I watched The Lego Movie again. After I went to bed and it was warm because I just got told that it was an electric bed. The next morning I woke and had some toast. We waited until it was 11:30  it was 10:00 Miss Kyla  got a text saying that the game was at 10:15. I was disappointed that I will show up late to the game.  

I arrived at the game it was half time. Everybody was asking why I came late I replied back to them I thought it was at 11:30. We lost our game but I got to hit someone and make someone cry. We were sitting down on the grass then there was 10 dollars flying around and landed under my shoe I was overwhelmed because nothing really happens to me. After my game we went to Carl's Jr. Miss Kyla bought me a western bacon, while Sam and Talia had the double western bacon. Later on we travelled back home I had a shower. After I had a shower we went to the movies at Albany in North Shore.

We watched X-Men the new one it was a cool movie. Later on we were watching Warriors vs Titans. At half time me and Sam went to go some pizza. The warriors defeated titans 24 - 16 it was an awesome match because seeing Shaun Johnson getting a try. The next day we waited again until 2:00 this time because I had a trail for an awesome team named Walter Dickson. While we were waiting I was watching a movie with Margaret. It 1:50 I started to pack up and put my stuff in the car. I said bye to everyone and off we went.

We arrived at the same time as my friend Kini. We were nervous but we carried on anyway. The trails started I was playing wing and I've never played it before. Kini was playing to but he was playing with the forwards number 8. It was nearly the end of the trails and played all the games while Kini only played 2. I was so excited they told us that they will come to our school or training and tell us if we made it in. It was cool at Miss Kyla's and Sam's house once again

How To Be A Good Discoverer

Hi all! If you are reading this then you are wanting to be a discover. Being a discoverer is one thing we have all find hard, but it is real easy if you put your heart into it. If you follow my explanation, you too could head your way into the world of discovery.

To be a good discover you have to be ambitious. Being ambitious means challenging yourself and always asking questions about things. It means being curious to find out answers and striving to succeed. If you are ambitious then it means you are always challenging yourself.

Being a discoverer means you need to have an open mind. Having an open mind means thinking outside of the box, being creative when doing your searches, and also admitting when you’re wrong at times when people have their say. Doing this, you could be a closer to finding the truth.

Another point on being a good discoverer is having strong evidence. This means that you need some proof (pictures, results) to help you make your point. Doing this, you could have everyone believe you when you have evidence with you.

If you follow,do and be these three words, you could have a bright future in front of you. If you are willing to be a discoverer, you will be:

• Ambitious
• A discoverer with an open mind, being creative
• Determination

These things will help you in your journey on being a discoverer, and maybe you could encourage others to become discoverers too, as we are all born curious. I would become one because I am always wondering about everything around me, like Why is the sky blue? and How can we see colour?
